Patrick Moore
Hello, my name is Patrick Moore, and I am a technology evangelist for Software Defined Networking and Real-Time OSS.
Patrick Moore has spent the last 21 yrs working in the telecommunications industry in some capacity. He began his career as an IT Clerk/Help Desk analyst at Telecom*USA, then the 3rd largest long distance carrier in the US. From there Patrick Moore moved on to working as a technician for Powertel PCS, now T-Mobile. In this role he was heavily involved in the turn up of the first GSM network in Alabama and one of the first in the US. Patrick then made the leap to more responsibility by coordinating the installation and turn up of 6 Class 5 voice switches for Deltacom, the largest CLEC in the Southern US. He worked his way up to management at Deltacom in the IT department, later transitioning to the Operational Excellence department as a Program Manager. Patrick then took the expertise gained and leveraged that into some incredible experiences in consulting, both as an independent and as an employee of Alcatel-Lucent. Notable work includes work in the Global Consulting group for Alcatel-Lucent, working with clients all over the world, and eneding his time with Alcatel-Lucent as the OSS Leader for the Americas region. Currently he works with Itenial, a start up focused on the advancement of SOftware Defined Networking and Real-Time OSS as viable and implementable solutions for service providers. In his role as SDN/Real-Time OSS Evangelist he works to educate clients on the proper roadmaps for SDN operationalization, as well as the definition of industry standards by working with the Open Networking Foundation, for which Itential is a member in good standing. Additionally, Patrick Moore is a Six Sigma Black Belt experienced in applying the methodology to service related industries.
